From the very beginning of the establishment of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch, the Holy Bible became an important source for the Fathers teachings, doctrines, the traditions, as well as the rituals. The Lord Jesus Christ in the midst of this church is the light, the life, the way and the truth.
